The day started bright and early with a cruise in the red sea ('Reed Sea'), where we could see Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan as well as Eilat's beautiful shoreline and hotels.

Next, a tour of the Underwater Observatory and the sharks tank, where the management spoiled us with plenty of food and drinks. Later the bloggers had a blast diving with dolphins at the Dolphin Reef. Although lunch was pizza and coke, dinner more than made up for it in El Gaucho restaurant.

The day finished off in The Bears Pub, where the owners made sure the bloggers (and organizers) drank themselves silly!

Although it is day one, only 3 of the 5 bloggers have arrived to Israel by the time the dinner in Fattush restaurant started.

Eunice's flight arrived at 11pm, Feng arrived on early Friday morning, Chris and Big K arrived this morning. Marcello's flight from Nairobi, Kenya, where he was staying was cancelled but he managed to get an alternative flight, and he, too, arrived to Israel today, and just in time to get one last bite!

Chris and Big K had a taste of their very first Falafel, and visited the German Colony. We all gathered for dinner at the Fattush restaurant in the German Colony and at about 11pm the bloggers made their way back to Port Inn, where they'll be staying tonight.

Check out more of their first day experiences on their blogs, twitter accounts and facebook (links on your right). Photos taken by the Once In A Lifetime 2.0 team are below :)
