Main Aspects - Security
Israel is but a small blink in the Middle East- a small country, about the size of New Jersey, surrounded by Arab nations, most of which are openly hostile to Israel.
A lot has been said and many questions have been raised about the different security measures Israel has taken from the creation of the security fense through the blocade on Gaza to prevent the flood of weapons to it to the forceful take over of the ship "Mavi Marmara" last May, which attempted to break the blocade.
We want to provide our bloggers and their followers with a more in-depth look into Israel's security constraints and needs and give them a chance to explore for themselves, ask questions and form their own opinion about Israel's actions.
Below you can find some vidoes about a few aspects of israel's security.

These are the areas of Israel that are exposed to terror attacks from Gaza. That range, 40 km, is the equivalent about 25 miles - and some 1/8 of Israel's population lives within the attack zone, which is within the internationally-recognized pre-1967 borders of Israel.
The picture to the left shows both the ranges and the number of seconds Israeli citizens have to get to a shelter before the missile launched from Gaza hits.
